The project CCAV / ART intends to address the complexity of the new status and the visual art of the last decades from a three-pronged approach: 1) the critical study of artistic practices emerging from the new maps of the global, 2) the approach of new theoretical concepts derived from these practices, and 3) the approach of a set of innovative working methods designed to analyze the relevance of the new art history, by establishing a critical position regarding what in the anglo academic world is usually called World Art History.
