Since the mid-nineties of the last century, Akram Zaatari has addressed in his work questions concerning the importance of images as a means of transmitting reality, essentially through the use of photography, film and video. In El Molesto Asunto (The Annoying Matter), the universe of issues and issues addressed by Zaatari is widening. The title alludes to the status of the body and its meaning in Lebanese society and in the Arab world in general. The project, conceived specifically for MUSAC, is based on an exhibition, a video program and a publication.
